Dr. Margaret Makanyengo is an esteemed consultant psychiatrist with over 21 years of experience at Kenyatta National Hospital, where she led the development of specialized mental health services, including HIV psychiatry and gender-based violence management. She played a crucial role in establishing the Comprehensive Care Clinic, a national model for HIV patient management. Dr. Makanyengo served as the program lead for HIV psychosocial care and support services in the CDC-funded program at KNH.
