KPA is the professional body representing psychiatrists in Kenya. We advocate for mental health, support professional development, and promote high standards in psychiatric care and education.

Membership is open to qualified psychiatrists, psychiatry trainees, and other mental health professionals interested in advancing psychiatry and mental health services in Kenya.

You can apply by completing the membership form available on our website and submitting it along with the required documents and membership fee.

KPA offers monthly CMEs (Continuing Medical Education sessions), both physical and virtual, to support ongoing professional development.

Members can log in to the member portal to view and download webinar recordings, presentation slides, and CPD certificates.

Yes, select events such as public webinars or Mental Health Awareness Month activities are open to non-members. However, some CPD events and resources are reserved for members only.

KPA engages in policy dialogue, public awareness campaigns, capacity building, and partnerships with government and non-governmental organizations to improve mental health services and reduce stigma.
